IMAGINE THE IMPACT

The community impact of this project for the city of Grand Forks and surrounding region will provide two state-of-the-art facilities (one on the south end and a renovated Altru Y Family Center on the north end), convenient, affordable and accessible facilities available for everyone. Other community impacts are:
• Opportunities for innovative, multi-sectored health and wellness projects, programs and services, which could serve as a model of best practices for other communities nationwide.
• Improve quality of life, provide greater recreation opportunities
• Share partner resources: programs, services and employees
• Access two facilities with one seamless membership
• Save members’ time and money
• Reduce costs through innovative energy sources
• Improve work-site wellness, absenteeism and insurance cost
• Support economic development with new jobs and additional construction projects near the facility
